Local Markdown Preview is a local-first Markdown viewer for opening and previewing files on your device.

Data Collection

The app does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. Markdown files are opened and rendered locally on your device.

Files and Recent Documents

When you open a Markdown or text file, the app may store a local copy and recent-file reference on your device so you can reopen it later. This information stays on your device and is not sent to the developer or a third party.

Tracking and Analytics

The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or third-party data brokers.

Network Access

The app can open links that you tap in a document using the system browser or mail app. The Markdown preview itself is designed to work offline and does not require an account.
